Normally, I would put this in The Writing Room, but I thought it should be at the very top of the board. We have some excellent writers here, who are obviously being read from the view counts we can see. If you like somebody's writing, take a moment to post a comment and say so. Even the best writers will start to doubt their work and eventually stop posting in the face of chapter after chapter of no comments. If you read it, log in and say so. If you're not a member and are at least 18, register to be a member, log in and say so. Otherwise, the story you keep checking back for more chapters of may simply stop.

Hey you are right, but what about those stories that are several years old, archived and not finished? There are some really good stories that aren't complete!

If a story is judged archive-worthy, we archive what we have and hope the author finishes it. Sometimes, we find further chapters posted on other sites. When that happens, we see if we can get permission to add them to our archive (and do, if we get it). However, if they never finish the fic, there's not much we can do about it.  Sad

It stings a bit to know my stuff is not archive worthy.

We're rather sadly backed up on the archiving, I'm afraid.  Sad

Who said her stuff wasn't archive-worthy? We haven't archived anybody's fiction in several years, but hope to start doing so again soon.

How can I help out?  I have found myself with some time on my hands, and have revisited "friends" of old in my muses here... man, I really miss them Sad

<Riddick> I promise you, if you read it again, you'll realize that he is not feeding his rooster to her cat.
