The
Speakeasy is a forum for general conversation. Things
that don't belong in the other Vin forums, with a few exceptions,
wind up here.
What is acceptable:
- Off-topic musings.
- Posting interesting news and information that you encounter
on the Web.
- Discussion about the events of your own life.
- Posts asking for or offering advice (aside from writing-related
advice).
- Jokes and humor.
What is not acceptable:
- Gossip about Vin, other celebrities, or other real people
on or off of our board.
- Any Vin topics should go in their proper Vin-related forums.
- Politics: The Art
of Vin Diesel is NOT a political forum. Politics
tends to be an extremely divisive issue that results in
hurt feelings. We are here to celebrate the things we have
in common, not to get into a fight over whose political
views are superior. (And for all you know, the political
views you're putting down are those of Vin himself, so keep
a lid on it.)
- Flaming.
Posts that do not belong in the Speakeasy will either be
moved to the appropriate forum, or deleted, at the Moderators'
discretion. Repeat offenders, who continually post the wrong
things to the forum, may lose their posting privileges.
